Village Web Company builds websites and teaches people how to do things online. As a social enterprise, we use our profits to help train the next generation of web developers and deliver free digital skills sessions in our local community.
Business Services
If you are a small business owner, we offer a range of website packages starting from only £350.00. We can create and host a brand new website to showcase your business and make sure that your customers can find you online. We also offer a wide range of e-commerce solutions to help you sell your products and services.
After your website goes live we’ll still be here in the background, maintaining your website to ensure that your site remains updated and protected from security threats. We will also be here to support you if you need help to reset passwords or update your content.
Training Courses
We offer a range of paid training courses, which will help you learn, in a relaxed and friendly environment. If it involves using a computer, a tablet or a smartphone we can probably help.
In addition to our small group training courses, we also run online training sessions and one to one face to face training sessions.
Bespoke Training Packages
We can create bespoke training packages and deliver sessions to your team in person, online or at our training centre in Romiley, Stockport.
Work Placements
We support those starting their careers in tech with work experience placements offered through local schools and colleges. We also offer short placements for adults who are interested in web development or digital marketing.
Meeting Room Hire
Our site in Romiley is an accessible meeting venue that offers a large and flexible space that can comfortably accommodate a dozen people. We have hosted meetings for 20 people, panel sessions for 30 people and a book signing in partnership with our neighbours Serenity Booksellers, which was attended by over 70 people.

Village Web Company hosts the Romiley co-working space
Busy coffee shops aren’t usually the best place to do business admin, write a dissertation, draft an important client proposal or work on a funding bid. If you need a few hours out of the house to work on something important, what you need is a co-working space with free wifi and complimentary refreshments, which is exactly what we offer on Thursdays at our shop in Romiley Precinct.
Tech Gifts
Our shop in Romiley has a range of tech themed gifts. We also have an online gift shop. The sale of our digital themed gifts helps to fund our free digital support sessions.

The internet is now part of every day life, but unfortunately the move to doing things digitally, is leaving lots of people behind. We regularly offer free to attend activities, that help people develop digital skills and confidence.
