This two day training course is designed for people with an existing WordPress website, that would like to learn how to manage their own site.
This is a hands on training course, which will allow you to not only learn exactly what to do, but will also give you the opportunity to put your new skills into practice. Everybody will be given their own WordPress website to work on throughout the course, which lets you get your hands dirty, without the fear of accidentally messing up your “real” website.
Topics include:
- How to use the WordPress Dashboard (The Admin panel)
- WordPress Themes and Plugins
- How to customise your WordPress website.
- Pages and Posts – What are they? What’s the difference and How do you create them?
- Manage Content, including how to add, delete and edit your existing text, words and other website content.
- How to use WordPress Blocks
Claire will share her personal experiences of working with WordPress, perform demonstrations and guide you through a number of exercises, which were created especially for this course.
In addition to having a WordPress website to work on during the training, this course also includes the opportunity to have a private one to one session with Claire to discuss your own website.
Although this course is designed for small business owners with an existing WordPress website, it would also be suitable for anybody who is planning to have a WordPress website for their business, charity or other organisation in the near future.

Payment can be made by BACS transfer, card or cash. Payment is also accepted by cheque with prior agreement.
It is possible to pay in instalments, but the full amount must be received prior to the start of the course.
