Romiley Co-Working Space

Romiley co-working space

Since closing the shop in spring 2025, I no longer offer co-working.

As a web developer I spend a lot of time sat quietly building websites, meanwhile there are people trapped in nearby pubs and cafes, desperately wishing that everyone else would just shut up so that they could get on with their work!

Cafes are great for delicious food and socialising with friends, but a busy coffee shop isn’t usually the best place to do business admin, write a dissertation, draft an important client proposal or work on a funding bid.

If you need a few hours out of the house to work on something important, what you need is a co-working space with free wifi and complimentary refreshments.

Why use a co-working space?

Over the last few years, we’ve all become more accustomed to working from home, but there are times when it’s more productive to pick up your laptop and work somewhere else. Home offices are great when you have to wait in for a delivery, but when you regularly work from home, it can be difficult to separate our work from our personal life, especially if you run your own business. Some days we just need an alternative that is free of interruptions from our loved ones and avoids the temptation to quickly do some housework, walk the dog or make a start on tonight’s tea.

Romiley Village has lots of lovely cafes and pubs, which regularly host people and their laptops, but if you’d rather have a desk and free brews, then perhaps co-working is a better option.
