This weekend I will be exhibiting Village Web Company at a business exhibition for the very first time.
I’ve been to exhibitions but never used one to showcase my business which is both exciting and nerve wracking.
Over the last couple of years I’ve changed my vision for the business and feel that this will be an opportunity to showcase some of my lesser known services such as Digital Signage and Bespoke Training.
I’m also really looking forward to meeting the other 99 exhibitors. As a small business owner I’m really looking forward to finding other small businesses and as a Black woman I’m excited to discover new hair and beauty products designed specifically for me. There’s also going to be food, entertainment and business speakers so it is definitely going to be a good day.
I’m not sure how well web development and digital training are going to communicate from behind a table but I’m going to give it my best shot. Word of mouth is a really powerful way to get your business out there but as a small business, eventually I need to find ways to connect with people that don’t already know me and this seems like a good opportunity.
The exhibition is on Saturday 31st July 2021 in Salford and there are still some tickets available.
